Multiquip 70-8003 Ignition Switch - OEM Replacement Part

The ignition switch is the primary power control for electric power buggies, working in conjunction with the emergency stop button and diagnostic gauge to manage battery voltage and motor controller functions. Located on the control panel, this switch initiates the electrical system and allows the Curtis Model 3100R Gauge Display to show battery voltage and fault codes through the CAN bus system.

This ignition switch connects to the wiring harness at terminals 30, 15, and 75, interfacing with the emergency stop switch and the main power distribution system. When activated, it energizes the 12 VDC power circuit protected by the 20-amp fuse (F1) and enables the motor contactor coil system. The switch is a critical component in the starting sequence—after pulling the emergency stop button outward, turning the ignition key powers the diagnostic gauge and readies the system for operation with the deadman lever and speed control.
