The cab assembly provides essential structural housing and operator protection for the EM12M plaster/mortar mixer, integrating with the frame and wheel assembly to support the mixing drum and mechanical drive system. This factory-assembled component is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of commercial plaster and mortar mixing operations while maintaining proper alignment of critical operational components.

The EM12M series features a 12 cubic foot (340 liter) steel mixing drum with a batch capacity between 3-1/2 and 4-1/2 bags. The cab assembly supports the entire mixing mechanism including the clutch engagement system, drum pivot points with zerk fittings for the dumping mechanism, and safety grill. Regular maintenance of cab-mounted components includes lubricating pivot point zerk fittings at least once per operational period and ensuring all mounting hardware remains tight. During cleaning operations, water should never be poured or sprayed over engine or motor areas housed within the cab structure. The mixer must be operated on level ground with the drum rotating during filling and emptying operations.
