This engine assembly serves as the complete power unit for the MTR40HF rammer, delivering the mechanical force needed to operate the compaction system. Note: Multiquip recommends using part number 912210040 as the current replacement for this assembly. The MTR40HF engine system requires regular maintenance including crankcase bearing lubrication with five shots of grease every 8 hours using MQ High Temperature Grease (P/N GRS2), fuel cock cleaning every 50 hours, and fuel line inspection with replacement every two years to maintain performance and flexibility. Intake pipe condition should be checked regularly with replacement every two years to ensure proper engine operation.
