Multiquip 955301040 Battery Cable (-) Negative - OEM Replacement Part

The negative battery cable provides the critical ground connection between the battery and engine electrical system on Multiquip reversible plate compactors. This cable completes the DC12V electrical circuit that powers the 1.0kW starter motor, engine control unit (ECU), dynamo regulator, and all other electrical components including the fuel pump, oil pressure switch, and compaction sensors on PAS-equipped models. A degraded or corroded negative battery cable can cause starting difficulties, electrical system malfunctions, intermittent component failures, and unreliable ECU operation.

This cable connects directly to the battery holder assembly and must be secured with proper fasteners during installation. When replacing the battery or performing electrical system maintenance on MVH-DE and MVH-DZ series compactors, inspect the negative cable terminals for corrosion, fraying, or damage.
