The choke wire controls the engine choke valve on Multiquip GA9.7HEA series portable generators, enabling cold start enrichment and smooth engine operation. This cable connects the choke control mechanism to the engine carburetor, allowing operators to manually adjust the air-fuel mixture during startup and warm-up procedures.

The GA9.7HEA series is a pipe frame portable generator equipped with an electrical control box mounted on rubber isolators to reduce engine vibration. These units feature multiple output receptacles including 120/240V twist-lock connections, 240V twist-lock (single phase), and 120V GFCI duplex outlets.
