This 12 1/8-inch flexible shaft transmits rotational power from the engine to the eccentric weight assembly in Multiquip DuoScreed systems, generating the 5,500 vibrations per minute needed to level and consolidate concrete. The one-piece flexible shaft design connects directly to the vibrator housing without bending, eliminating a major source of friction and reducing the likelihood of shaft failure during high-frequency operation.

In DS-Series lightweight screeds, this shaft drives the two-piece eccentric weight that produces simultaneous leveling and consolidation action through the blade. The flexible design allows the shaft to transmit vibration while accommodating the angle-mounted vibratory system that delivers both lateral and vertical vibrations to produce dense concrete slabs.
