The terminal plate serves as the primary electrical connection interface for voltage output configuration in Multiquip super silent generator systems. This critical component houses the voltage change-over bus bars that allow technicians to reconfigure three-phase output between 208Y/120V, 220Y/127V, 240Y/139V and higher voltage configurations at 416Y/240V, 440Y/254V, and 480Y/277V. Proper terminal plate function is essential for maintaining correct armature star-with-neutral connections in these revolving field synchronous generators.

When servicing the voltage change-over board, Multiquip specifies tie bolt torque at 65.0 lbf∙in (14.7 N∙m) for secure electrical connections. The terminal plate is accessed inside the control box and works in conjunction with the generator's output terminals (U, V, W, O, GND) to deliver prime output of 144 kW (180 kVA) and standby output of 158 kW (198 kVA) at 0.8 power factor.
