This instantly removable drum design allows for quick replacement when wear, damage, or thread degradation occurs on the gearbox mounting interface. Maximum drum capacity is 4.5 cubic feet with a recommended mixing capacity of 3.0 cubic feet (half-bag batches) for optimal concrete and mortar production.

Installation requires careful threading onto the gearbox shaft - the drum must be fully screwed onto the shoulder to prevent thread damage. Remove by unscrewing counter-clockwise. Critical installation note from Multiquip technical documentation: avoid spinning the drum too quickly onto the gearbox shaft as this may cause gearbox damage.
