Constructed from fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber, this heating pad operates within a temperature range of -40°F to 248°F and features an integrated thermostat that maintains DEF temperature between 34°F and 45°F to prevent crystallization and ensure proper SCR system operation.

The heating pad measures 25 × 36 inches (635 × 914 mm) and draws 12.5 amps at 120 VAC through a standard 15-amp inlet receptacle. Installation is straightforward—the pad is positioned between the galvanized skid base and the polyethylene DEF tank, with power supplied via extension cord to the heating pad receptacle. The switchable On/Off input allows operators to activate heating only when ambient temperatures threaten DEF freezing, which occurs at 12°F (-11°C).
