This 4-1/2" ball valve component is a critical wear part in the discharge valving system of Multiquip C30HD concrete pumps, controlling material flow direction as concrete is forced through the pump outlet. The ball works in conjunction with the seat and retainer pin to prevent backflow into the hopper during pumping operations.

According to Multiquip maintenance procedures, the ball and seat should be inspected regularly for wear when servicing the discharge system. To inspect, remove the 3"x 2" reducer and 3" elbow from the pump outlet, then remove the discharge door and secondary Y-distributor to access the ball, seat, and retainer pin assembly.
