Multiquip EM600028 Clutch Yoke - OEM Replacement Part for Plaster Mortar Mixers

The clutch yoke is the critical engagement component that transfers power from the engine to the paddle shaft in Multiquip plaster and mortar mixers. When the operator pushes the clutch lever forward toward the tow end of the mixer, the yoke engages to begin paddle rotation for mixing operations. Pulling the clutch lever backward toward the engine disengages the yoke, stopping paddle rotation while the engine continues running.

This component operates within the clutch compartment, which requires 1.5 liters of SAE 30 motor oil maintained to the level of the lower inspection plug. The clutch assembly includes an adjustment mechanism with a lock bolt that must be properly set during installation or servicing. Regular inspection through the clutch inspection door allows technicians to verify proper yoke operation and adjustment without full disassembly.

Common failure symptoms include difficulty engaging or disengaging the paddle shaft, slipping during mixing operations, or inability to maintain clutch engagement under load. The yoke works in conjunction with the clutch lever to provide positive on/off control of the 12 cubic foot mixing drum.
