Multiquip EM934022 Clutch Assembly - OEM Replacement Part for Plaster Mortar Mixers

The clutch assembly transfers power from the engine to the paddle shaft in Multiquip plaster and mortar mixers, allowing operators to engage and disengage mixing on demand. When the clutch lever is pushed forward toward the tow end of the mixer, the clutch engages and the paddle shaft begins rotating. Pulling the lever back toward the engine disengages the clutch and stops paddle rotation.

This assembly is housed in the lower clutch compartment, which requires 1.5 liters of SAE 30 motor oil for proper lubrication. During normal operation, the clutch should engage with a firm 35 to 55 lbs. of pressure and snap into the engaged position. Signs of clutch failure include difficulty engaging or disengaging, slipping during operation, or inability to transfer power to the paddle shaft. Regular inspection through the clutch inspection door allows for adjustment of the adjusting ring and monitoring of component wear.
