Multiquip EM98043 Crankshaft Forged C30HD - OEM Replacement Part

The forged crankshaft is the primary rotating assembly in C30HD series concrete pumps, converting hydraulic motor power into the reciprocating motion that drives the piston assemblies. This critical component mounts directly into the pump box with bearing assemblies on both ends and supports the cam weldment, spacer (P/N EM14302), and cam bushing (P/N EM14301) that control piston stroke timing.

During installation, the crankshaft key and cam key must be properly aligned on the cam bushing before sliding it down the crankshaft. The bearing components install against the crank disc with complete contact at the rear surface, and proper bearing cup seating is critical for operational longevity. The eccentric lock must face toward the outside of the pumping unit to ensure correct operation. Technicians should inspect the crankshaft during major pump rebuilds when removing piston assemblies, checking for wear on bearing surfaces and alignment with the pump box mountings.
