Key Service Items
Flexible Shaft
The flexible shaft is the most wear-prone connection on internal vibrator systems. It must be lubricated at the 100-hour mark. On YD-series vibrators, the plastic bushing inside the shaft assembly must also be replaced at that interval. Do not wait for visible wear to perform this service. A dry or degraded shaft will fail under load and can damage the vibrator head.
Vibrator Head Oil (YD Series)
Change the oil in the vibrator head every 300 hours of operation. This interval applies specifically to YD3.5 models. Skipping oil changes allows heat and metal particles to accelerate internal wear. Vibrator Head Wear Dimensions

Carbon Brushes (Electric Models: HD3.7, MD3.5)
