The connector case assembly houses and protects the critical voltage selection components in Multiquip submersible pumps, enabling safe switching between 230V and 460V three-phase configurations. This sealed power cable attachment assembly prevents moisture intrusion while securing the 12-pin female connector plug that interfaces with the motor windings. The gland-style design incorporates four retaining screws that must be torqued properly to prevent connector pin damage and ensure a watertight seal.

During voltage conversion procedures, this connector case is removed to access the 230/460 VAC selection plugs. The ST3050D pump ships factory-set at 230 VAC, requiring technicians to unplug the female connector and swap to the 460 VAC configuration when needed. A damaged or corroded connector case compromises the pump's IP rating and can allow water infiltration into the electrical cavity, leading to short circuits, thermal overload trips, or complete motor failure. Proper installation requires ensuring the gland seats correctly in the pump cavity before reinstalling the four retaining screws.
