This 30-amp, 125-volt twist-lock output receptacle (NEMA L5-30R) provides dedicated 120V AC power output at 30 amps on Multiquip and Denyo diesel generators. Protected by a single-pole, 30-amp circuit breaker, this receptacle is a critical component of the generator's control box power distribution system, allowing technicians to safely connect high-draw 120V equipment through a secure twist-lock connection.

The receptacle works in conjunction with the generator's full power switch system. When the full power switch is in the 120V position (up), you can access the full rated power of the generator at 120 volts from both the duplex receptacle and this 120V twist-lock receptacle, or a combination of both as long as total load does not exceed generating set capacity. When in the 240V position (down), you can access up to half of the rated power at 120 volts from this receptacle. The circuit breaker protecting this receptacle must always be placed in the OFF position when starting the generator to prevent damage from inrush current.
