This high-density paper air filter element protects the Isuzu diesel engine in Multiquip DCA-series generators from dust, debris, and airborne contaminants that can cause performance loss and premature engine wear. Designed as the primary filtration element, it requires inspection daily or before starting the engine, with cleaning recommended every 250 hours using light compressed air spray.

According to Multiquip maintenance specifications, the air cleaner system includes both primary and secondary elements working together as a dual-stage filtration system. The primary element should only be replaced when the air restriction indicator displays RED—premature replacement wastes resources while delayed replacement in dusty or dry grass conditions leads to clogged air flow and potential engine overheating. When cleaning, always wear approved safety glasses and dust masks. Once the indicator shows RED, the element must be disposed of and cannot be cleaned or reused.
