The seal bracket is a critical structural component that secures the pump casing and houses the industrial mechanical seal assembly in Multiquip ST-Series submersible pumps. This component works in conjunction with the double mechanical seal system (lower silicon carbide vs silicon carbide, upper carbon/ceramic) that prevents water from entering the oil chamber during operation.

During impeller removal and mechanical seal replacement procedures, the seal bracket must be detached by removing the four bolts and lock washers that secure the pump casing to this bracket.
