The chrome steel impeller is the heart of your submersible pump's performance, converting motor power into water flow through centrifugal force. This dynamically balanced, high chrome impeller measures 158mm diameter with a 5mm thickness and 25mm bore, engineered specifically for abrasion resistance in demanding industrial water pumping applications.

Designed for use in the ST41230 and ST41460 4-inch submersible pumps, this impeller delivers maximum pumping capacity of 423 gallons per minute (1,600 liters/min) and heads up to 138 feet (42.1 m). The chrome steel construction provides superior durability when handling clear water applications with maximum solids up to 0.6 inches (15.2 mm). According to Multiquip maintenance specifications, the impeller should maintain clearance between 0.011-0.019 inches (0.3-0.5 mm) and must be replaced immediately if defective or badly worn.

Removal requires draining the oil chamber, removing the pump casing and seal bracket assembly, then extracting the impeller cap nut and washer from the motor shaft. A rubber mallet or puller may be needed for removal. This impeller works in conjunction with the pump's double mechanical seals and oil-filled chamber to provide reliable protection in the most demanding conditions.
