This switch assembly provides critical engine protection for super silent diesel generators by monitoring engine operating conditions and triggering automatic shutdown when abnormal conditions are detected. Designed for use with Kubota D1403 engines and BLW-400 series equipment, this OEM component integrates with the generator's emergency relay system to protect against charging system failures and overheating conditions.

The switch assembly works in conjunction with protective shutdown devices that monitor engine alternator charge output and coolant temperature. When loss of charge from the engine alternator occurs or when engine coolant temperature becomes abnormally high, the switch signals the emergency relay to automatically stop the engine while displaying an indicator lamp on the control panel. This prevents catastrophic engine damage in water-cooled, 4-cycle diesel generator applications.
