The Engine II assembly is a complete turbocharged diesel engine replacement for Multiquip DCA-45SSIU3 super silent generators, providing the primary power source for 45 kVA prime output at 1,800 rpm. This ISUZU BB-4JG1T engine features a 4-cycle, water-cooled, direct injection design with turbocharging for optimal performance in commercial and industrial generator applications. The 4-cylinder configuration delivers 187 cubic inches of displacement (3,059 cc) with a bore and stroke of 3.76 x 4.21 inches, supporting both three-phase (240V/480V) and single-phase (240/120V) generator output at 60 Hz.

This complete engine assembly includes electric starting capability and is engineered to maintain the generator's rated standby output of 47.3 kVA (37.8 kW) three-phase and 27.3 kW single-phase. The unit requires 3.6 gallons of coolant capacity and 2.64 gallons of lube oil for proper operation. When properly maintained, this engine supports continuous duty cycles in sound-attenuated enclosures typical of the SuperSilent series.
