The cover casing seals the pump chamber and provides critical access for debris removal and maintenance on 3-inch trash pumps. This component works in conjunction with four locking knobs to create a watertight seal around the impeller housing while allowing technicians to open the clean-out cover by turning counterclockwise once the knobs are loosened.
