This switch assembly is a critical safety control component for Multiquip vibratory rollers, preventing uncontrolled engine operation and ensuring proper hydraulic pump function. The micro-switch works in conjunction with the traveling lever system to monitor hydraulic pump position via a camshaft roller mechanism.

During maintenance, verify that the roller at the end of the micro-switch aligns properly with the dent of the camshaft on the hydraulic pump lever. After adjustment, light grease should be applied to the roller bearing of the micro-switch to ensure smooth operation.
