Multiquip 2052 C.V. Joint with Boot - OEM Replacement Part for Power Trowels

This constant velocity (C.V.) joint assembly with integrated boot (part 2259) maintains smooth power transfer from the gearbox to the trowel arms while protecting internal components from concrete dust, moisture, and debris during finishing operations. The flexible boot design allows the joint to articulate through its full range of motion while keeping contamination out of critical bearing surfaces.

C.V. joints are subjected to constant stress during trowel operation and should be inspected regularly for boot tears, excessive play, or binding. Wire brush any concrete buildup from all joint surfaces during routine maintenance intervals. Replace immediately if the boot shows cracking or if the joint exhibits unusual noise or resistance during rotation, as contamination of the joint internals will lead to premature failure and potential damage to connected components.
