The hydraulic engineer tubeline is a critical hydraulic system component that routes pressurized hydraulic fluid between the hydraulic pump, control valves, and the blade pitch adjustment system on ride-on power trowels. This tubeline ensures reliable transmission of hydraulic pressure for precise blade pitch control during concrete finishing operations.

On the STX-SERIES trowels, the hydraulic system powers essential functions including the blade pitch control switches that adjust left and right side blade pitch independently, as well as the twin pitch control that adjusts both blade pitches simultaneously. The hydraulic circuit also connects to the pitch block located behind the grill guard where pitch pressure can be measured and adjusted. Proper hydraulic line integrity is essential for maintaining precise steering control and blade pitch adjustments during finishing work.

This tubeline works in conjunction with the hydraulic suction filter (10 micron absolute synthetic media) and connects to the hydraulic oil reservoir which can be monitored via the hydraulic oil sight glass. Failed or leaking hydraulic lines result in loss of blade pitch control, reduced responsiveness in steering, and potential contamination of the hydraulic system.
