The pitch control tube assembly synchronizes blade pitch between two sets of trowel blades on ride-on power trowels equipped with Twin Pitch™ control systems. This critical component connects the pitch adjustment handles to the trowel spider assemblies, allowing operators to lift one handle to disconnect that side from the Twin Pitch™ system for individual adjustment, then lower it back to synchronized operating position. When functioning properly, both blade sets maintain consistent pitch angles for even concrete finishing.

Regular inspection of the pitch control tube assembly is essential when troubleshooting uneven blade wear patterns. Signs that adjustment or replacement may be needed include one blade wearing completely while others appear new, perceptible rolling or bouncing motion during operation, trowel guard rings rocking relative to the ground, or pitch control towers moving back and forth. The tube assembly works in conjunction with blade pitch adjustment bolts on the trowel arm fingers to provide precise control over finishing operations.
