This precision-machined centering spacer maintains proper trowel arm alignment and clearance in the spider assembly, ensuring smooth, fluid rotation and even concrete finishing. When trowel arms develop uneven blade wear, perceptible rolling or bouncing motion, or guard rings that rock up and down during operation, worn or misaligned centering components are often the cause.

The countersunk design (1.690" x 0.328" x 0.310") provides exact spacing critical for maintaining the factory-specified clearances during trowel arm adjustment procedures. According to Multiquip maintenance specifications, trowel arms must maintain flatness within 0.004" (0.10mm) across all six hex sections, with consistent 0.005" (0.127mm) clearance between the round shaft and test surface.
