Multiquip 23156 CV-Joint to Comet Clutch Coupler - OEM Replacement Part

This coupler connects the CV-joint to the Comet clutch assembly in Multiquip ride-on power trowels, transmitting power from the engine drive system to the trowel rotor assemblies. This is a critical drivetrain component for older Hoffco Comet CVT-equipped models.

Important: This part is designed for machines still operating with the original Hoffco Comet clutch system. The old style Comet clutch components are no longer available as standalone replacements. If your clutch system requires service, Multiquip recommends upgrading to the Multi-Clutch system using replacement kit P/N 23447 with installation instructions P/N 23448. Multi-Clutch components are not interchangeable with the prior Hoffco Comet drive system, and the entire CVT system must be replaced for compatibility. This coupler should be inspected during regular maintenance intervals when accessing internal components through the rear guard. Drive belt failures or clutch engagement issues may indicate coupler wear.
