Multiquip 23420 Coupler Driven-CCVT - OEM Replacement Part

The Driven Coupler CCVT connects the CV-joint to the gearbox in Multiquip power trowel CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) clutch systems. This critical component enables the CVT to automatically deliver the correct amount of torque required by the trowel under all load conditions, from float pan applications to high-speed burnishing operations.

In trowels equipped with the CVT-type clutch system, the driven coupler is secured to the left-side gearbox with three screws and interfaces directly with the CV-joint assembly. The CVT system supplies torque to both left and right gearboxes through the driven pulley and drive belt configuration. During spare drive belt replacement procedures, technicians must disconnect the CV-joint from this coupler by removing the three securing screws to access the lower driven pulley assembly.

This coupler is essential for maintaining proper torque transmission in the continuously variable transmission system. Wear or damage to this component can result in loss of power transfer, improper clutch engagement, or complete drive system failure.
