Multiquip 241003 Output Gear 4-Speed - OEM Replacement Part

This output gear is a critical component of the 4-speed bladeshaft drive system, transferring power through the transaxle to deliver precise blade speed ratios of 1:1, 1.34:1, 1.7:1, and 2.02:1. This gear enables operators to shift between four different blade speeds to match manufacturer RPM recommendations for various blade sizes and cutting applications.

The 4-speed system uses a shift lever with a positive locking mechanism to prevent unintended gear changes during operation. When servicing the output gear, the saw frame must be leveled to obtain accurate oil level readings, as the bladeshaft operates in a fully enclosed oil bath lubrication system. The shift wrench must always be removed before starting the engine to prevent equipment damage or operator injury. Access to the gear assembly is provided through removable belt guards and access panels designed for ease of maintenance.

This gear works in conjunction with the dual 5-groove Goodyear HY-T Wedge Torque Team belt system and standard bladeshaft tachometer to ensure proper blade speed control across the 14" to 48" blade range.
