Multiquip 24389 Guard Ring 30" - OEM Replacement Part for Walk-Behind Trowels

The 30-inch guard ring assembly prevents blade contact with boundaries like walls and obstacles when finishing surface edges on walk-behind power trowels. This guard ring is essential for the 30-inch configuration setup, working in conjunction with the bumper ring and bumper to protect both the equipment and work surfaces during concrete finishing operations. The inner ring diameter measures 30 inches (762 mm), while maintaining compatibility with the 36-inch outer configuration through a conversion process.

Installation requires six M8-1.25 × 45 mm HHC screws (provided separately) when converting from the 36-inch guard-bumper ring assembly. The original M8-1.25 × 25 mm screws must be retained for future reconversion to 36-inch configuration. This guard ring assembly is designed for removal and reinstallation without full disassembly, consisting of guard ring segments, bumper ring, and bumper components that should remain assembled for ease of installation. Regular inspection during maintenance intervals should check for rocking movement during operation, which indicates potential adjustment needs.
