The spindle shaft is a critical rotating component that mounts and drives the diamond blade on pavement saws, transferring power from the motor through the belt drive system to achieve precise cutting operations. This left-hand threaded upcut spindle shaft measures 18.96 inches in length and accommodates the 1-inch arbor standard on the SP1E16A saw platform.

Engineered with industrial blade shaft bearings for high-speed operation at 3450 RPM, this spindle shaft works in conjunction with the manual ACME thread raise/lower assembly to maintain constant cutting depth and prevent blade warping or vibration during operation. The left-hand thread design (loosens counterclockwise, tightens clockwise) is specifically engineered to prevent spindle nut loosening during blade rotation. When installing blades, torque the spindle nut to approximately 45-50 ft-lb (61-68 N/m) to ensure proper blade retention without overtightening.
