Multiquip 336002001 Base Pump Assembly - OEM Replacement Part for Diaphragm Pumps

The Base Pump Assembly provides the structural foundation for MQD series diaphragm pumps, mounting the gearbox, connecting rod assembly, and steering handle while ensuring proper alignment of all pump components. This factory-original base is essential for maintaining pump stability and preventing premature failure of the gearbox and related components during operation.

The base features pre-drilled mounting holes that accept 1/2-13 hex screws for gearbox installation and front mounting points for the steering handle assembly. Proper installation with correctly torqued mounting screws and washers is critical—failure to follow OEM specifications can result in damage to the gearbox, base, or other pump components. The base must be placed on firm, flat, and level surfaces as near to the water source as possible to ensure optimal pump performance and priming capability.

This base pump assembly is designed to support the connecting rod bearing (which requires greasing every 25 hours), plunger guard, and all associated diaphragm pump components during continuous operation.
