Multiquip 43438 Electric Drive Coolant Pump - OEM Replacement Part

The electric drive coolant pump circulates water glycol coolant through the PRX ride-on power float's electric drive system to prevent overheating and component damage. This pump is critical for maintaining proper operating temperature of the electric drive components and works in conjunction with the 4-quart coolant bottle that contains prediluted 50/50 antifreeze meeting GM Dex-Cool specification GM6277M.

The PRX manual explicitly warns to NEVER run the float without electric drive coolant, even for a short time, as damage to the coolant pump and electric drive components will occur. The coolant system includes a float level switch that notifies the operator on the digital display when coolant is low, making regular monitoring essential. This pump ensures continuous circulation of coolant to protect the electric drive and steering system hydraulic components during operation.
