The Cover Belt protects the V-belt drive system on the Mikasa MVHeR60 reversible plate compactor, shielding critical drive components from debris, moisture, and impact during operation. This cover is essential for maintaining proper belt tension and preventing premature wear on the clutch and vibrator pulley system.

On the MVHeR60, the V-belt connects the clutch pulley to the vibrator pulley and should be inspected every 200 hours of operation under normal conditions. Proper belt tension is achieved when the belt deflects 10 to 15 mm when depressed with a finger midway between pulleys. The belt cover ensures this system remains protected while allowing for necessary maintenance access. The MVHeR60 is a battery-powered reversible plate compactor featuring a Honda GXE2.0H DC motor, generating 2,698 lbf centrifugal force at 6,500 vpm for compacting granular soils and asphalt.
