Multiquip 471354540 Bearing Cover - OEM Replacement Part for Plate Compactors

The bearing cover protects the drive shaft oil seal and bearing assembly from contamination and debris while maintaining proper lubrication within the vibration case assembly. This component is critical for preventing premature bearing failure and maintaining the integrity of the rotary shaft drive system on MVH series plate compactors.

Located on the drive side of the vibration case, this bearing cover works in conjunction with oil seal SC-28508 (part #0602-02060) to seal the 6307C4 bearing assembly. The cover is secured using four M8x25mm bolts with spring washers and plain washers, ensuring a reliable seal against the vibration case housing. The vibration case operates with 350cc of SAE 10W-30 lubricant at 5400 VPM (90 Hz), making proper sealing essential for equipment longevity.

Inspect this cover during regular maintenance intervals or when servicing the drive shaft assembly. Signs of wear include oil leakage around the mounting surface, visible cracks, or damage from impact. Replace whenever removing the rotary shaft or if seal integrity is compromised.
