The wear plate is a critical sacrificial component in trash pump systems that protects the pump casing from erosion caused by the high-velocity rotation of the impeller. Positioned between the semi-open impeller and the pump casing, this stainless steel wear plate maintains optimal clearance for maximum pumping efficiency while absorbing the abrasive wear from suspended solids and debris in the pumped fluid.

This stainless steel wear plate is engineered to OEM specifications for Multiquip's high-capacity trash pumps. In the MQ600H series, the pump is capable of moving up to 1,600 gallons per minute with a maximum head of 150 feet and operates at 64.9 PSI. The wear plate works in conjunction with the ductile iron impeller and cast iron casing to handle demanding dewatering applications.
