Multiquip 516061 Drum & Shaft Assembly - OEM Replacement Part for Plaster Mortar Mixers

This drum and shaft assembly is the primary mixing component for Multiquip WM-70S series plaster and mortar mixers, responsible for containing and agitating material during the mixing process. The complete assembly integrates the drum head seals with Zerk grease fittings on each end that require lubrication as part of the regular maintenance schedule, along with pivot point fittings that lubricate the dumping mechanism—both should be greased at least once a month or when the drum becomes difficult to position.

The drum assembly houses the rubber mixing paddles and works in conjunction with the mixer's tilt mechanism to allow proper material discharge. Multiquip manuals emphasize that the mixer drum must be kept clean and free of debris and dried material after each use, as buildup of materials can lead to premature metal fatigue of the drum assembly. The integrated safety grill should only be unlocked when cleaning of the blades and drum is required.
