Multiquip 560020 Latch Lift and Turn - OEM Replacement Part for Concrete Saws

The lift and turn latch provides secure positioning and controlled movement of the saw blade assembly during raise and lower operations on Multiquip concrete saws. This critical locking mechanism works in conjunction with the 12-volt hydraulic pump and cylinder system, ensuring the saw head remains safely engaged during cutting operations and transport. When this latch fails or becomes worn, operators may experience difficulty securing the blade assembly in the raised position, potentially causing unsafe operating conditions or alignment issues that can lead to blade wobble and inaccurate cuts.

This latch is engineered to withstand the demanding conditions of concrete cutting applications where precise blade alignment is critical. Proper blade positioning must maintain squareness to horizontal (90° to flat surface) and blade shaft flanges must be equidistant to the saw sides within +/- 0.030" tolerance. A malfunctioning latch can compromise these alignment specifications, resulting in excessive cut gaps, blade wear, and cutting inaccuracies.
