Multiquip 75-00900 Skip Tub Tip Cable Assembly - OEM Replacement Part

The skip tub tip cable assembly controls the critical dumping mechanism on Multiquip power buggies, enabling operators to safely tilt the tub to its vertical discharge position and return it to horizontal transport position. This cable connects the dump lever to the tipping bracket system, allowing the tub to automatically rotate when the lever is pulled back and released.

During operation, technicians pull back on the dump lever to place the tub in the dump position, rotating it to vertical to discharge contents. The cable assembly must maintain proper tension and smooth operation to ensure the tub catch secures firmly and the tipping bracket pivot bar rests correctly within the tipping slots. If the buggy is on an incline, slight upward forward pressure on the tub may be necessary to engage the dump position properly.

This cable assembly is a critical wear component subject to repeated cycling during material discharge operations. Symptoms of cable failure include difficulty engaging dump position, incomplete tub rotation, or inability to secure the tub in the transport position under the tub latch.
