Multiquip 801989 Hydraulic Pump - OEM Replacement Part for Rollers

The hydraulic pump is the heart of the AR14H roller's drive system, supplying high-pressure oil to power both the forward and reverse travel functions through the valve block manifold. This axial hydraulic pump is manually controlled by a cable connected to the forward/reverse travel lever and directs oil flow to the front and rear drum drive motors. When the travel lever is placed in forward position, the pump supplies high-pressure oil through port A; in reverse, oil flow direction changes with port B becoming the high-pressure side. Connected to this pump is a gear pump that provides power for the drum vibratory system and articulating steering system, with oil flowing from the pump to the manifold control valve block and then to the hydraulic motor that rotates the eccentric weights.

The hydrostatic pump works in conjunction with two relief valves, a freewheel engagement valve, and front and rear drum drive motors to provide complete control of the roller's travel system. Return oil from the motors flows back to the valve block and returns to the suction side of the hydrostatic pump, completing the hydraulic circuit.
