This hydraulic hose is a critical component in the AR14H roller's hydraulic system, which powers both the drum vibratory system and articulating steering. The hose connects components within the hydraulic circuit that delivers oil from the gear pump to the manifold control valve block, enabling the 3,400 lbf centrifugal force at 4,200 vpm that makes effective compaction possible.

The AR14H's hydraulic system uses ISO 46 Type Hydraulic Oil and operates under high pressure to drive the drum motors and vibrator assembly.
