This hydraulic hose connects the manifold control valve block to critical hydraulic components in the AR14H roller's hydrostatic drive system. The manifold directs high-pressure oil from the hydrostatic pump to the front and rear drum drive motors, with oil flow direction determined by the travel lever position—port A supplies high pressure in forward operation while port B handles return oil to the pump suction side. In reverse, these port functions switch. The manifold also routes oil from the gear pump to power both the drum vibratory system and articulating steering system, with the steering circuit operating at a relief pressure of 1,000 psi as measured at manifold test port 1.

This hose is a critical link in the hydraulic circuit that enables forward/reverse travel and steering control. Failed or degraded hydraulic hoses can cause loss of drive power, steering response issues, or hydraulic fluid leaks that compromise system pressure.
