This hydraulic hose connects the manifold control valve block to critical hydraulic system components on Multiquip ride-on rollers, ensuring proper oil flow for the drum vibratory system and articulating steering system. The manifold directs high-pressure hydraulic oil from the hydrostatic pump to the front and rear drum drive motors, with port A supplying oil during forward travel and port B during reverse operation. This hose is part of the hydraulic circuit that includes two relief valves, a freewheel engagement valve, and the drum motors that provide forward/reverse drive capability.

During routine hydraulic system maintenance and pressure testing at the manifold test ports, technicians should inspect this hose for signs of wear, cracking, or leakage. The steering relief pressure at manifold test port 1 should read 1,000 psi at full throttle with the steering wheel held at maximum turn.
