The water retainer lever controls the water delivery system on Multiquip walk-behind vibratory rollers, allowing operators to adjust water flow to the spray bar during asphalt compaction operations. This mechanical lever, mounted on the handle, provides three distinct water-flow adjustment settings to prevent asphalt from adhering to the drum during rolling and patching operations.

Proper water distribution is critical for effective asphalt rolling. Before starting any job, ensure all spray bar holes are clear of dirt and foreign matter.
