The side control box panel provides essential housing and protection for the control system components on Multiquip DCA-400SSK series super silent generators. This panel is a critical structural component that shields the voltage regulator control knob, ammeter change-over switch, voltmeter change-over switch, voltage change-over board, and panel light switch from environmental exposure and physical damage during operation.

The control box panel integrates directly with the generator's control system, which includes a voltage regulator control knob allowing ± 15% manual adjustment of output voltage, an ammeter change-over switch for monitoring current flow across phases, and a voltmeter change-over switch for phase-to-phase voltage indication. The panel also houses the 6-jumper plate voltage change-over board that configures the generator for either 240 or 480 VAC output.
