The Plate Balancing is a critical component of the PowerBalance® load management system used in Multiquip's DCA600 super silent generator series. This resistive load plate works as part of the automatic load management controller that protects generator engines from damage caused by sustained low-load operations (defined as less than 30% of full generator rating). When the PowerBalance® controller detects that exhaust temperature or load levels are too low, it automatically activates resistive coils to increase engine load to optimal levels, preventing wet stacking and carbon buildup. The system continuously monitors engine load and automatically deactivates the additional resistive load when external demand brings the generator to optimum operating levels.

This balancing plate is specifically designed for DCA600SSV series generators equipped with the DF-6601V exciter system. The PowerBalance® assembly ensures your generator maintains proper operating temperature and load conditions during extended periods of light-load operation, significantly extending engine life and reducing maintenance issues associated with diesel engine glazing.
