The rotor assembly is the core rotating component of the brushless excitation system in Multiquip's super silent generator line. This assembly spins at 1,800 rpm inside the stator to generate rated-output electricity through electromagnetic induction. The rotor creates the revolving magnetic field essential to the 4-pole, brushless, revolving-field type generator design used in these units.

In the DCA6SPX4F's brushless exciter system, the rotor (armature) converts mechanical energy from the engine into electrical output by rotating within the magnetic field created by excitation current in the stator winding. This design eliminates brushes and their associated maintenance while delivering reliable 6 kW continuous output (7 kW maximum) at 120/240V single phase. Rotor failure typically presents as loss of power output, voltage irregularities, or complete failure to generate electricity despite normal engine operation.
