This terminal cover protects the output terminal panel on Multiquip UltraSilent series generators, providing critical safety coverage for the five output terminal lugs (U, V, W, O, and Ground) and associated circuit breakers. The cover lifts up to provide access to the three 120/240V output receptacles at 50 amps, two 120V GFCI receptacles at 20 amps, and the terminal lugs that deliver power to hardwired loads. This protective cover is essential for preventing accidental contact with live terminals and protecting the output terminal panel from environmental contamination and debris.

The output terminal panel houses the main 175 amp circuit breaker and overcurrent relay that monitors current flowing from the U, V, and W terminal lugs. In the event of a short circuit or overcurrent condition, the system automatically trips to protect the generator.
