The hydraulic oil tank serves as the primary reservoir for the RX1575 trench roller's hydraulic system, storing the hydraulic oil that powers the machine's core functions. This tank features a removable lid for access during maintenance and includes a drain plug for complete oil evacuation. The hydraulic circuit requires draining and refilling at operating temperature to ensure residues are properly flushed from the tank. When draining, the plug is removed and oil flows into a container with at least 30 liter capacity. The tank is equipped with a venting filter (breather filter, order number 12421) that requires replacement during hydraulic oil service. The tank lid and all screw connections should be tightened hand tight during reassembly. This tank is located on the machine chassis alongside the fuel tank and oil cooler.
